VTG 1966 PAR JIGSAW PICTURE PUZZLE “SOLEMN MOMENT” TRIBAL DESIGN SIGNED 1,100 Pc

Description: This is a wonderful vintage Par Picture Puzzle titled “Solemn Moment”. Box notes: 1100 pieces (not hand counted). It is also signed by what I believe is the cutter of the puzzle in gold pen, in two spots. It is approximately 24” by 31” in size so it’s big . It has the original owners initials cut out as part of the pieces -- as well as the date 1966 at the bottom. Puzzle colors are vivid. Pieces are quality cut and tight. A few teeny, tiny tip paper peels/chips at ends. NO mildew or smoking odors. Complete! PLEASE NOTE FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DO NOT WANT TO SEE THE FINISHED PUZZLE, AVOID LOOKING AT THE LAST PHOTO, WHICH SHOWS IT COMPLETED. The Black box does not have a picture which is typical of PAR. If you do not want the Polaroid photos that the last family had taken of it completed, I can exclude those from the box. Let me know. PAR time is 8 hours 40 minutes. Good luck with that one. With all the color changes and different shades all around it was quite challenging and really took a few weeks to put together (for us), yet it was extremely enjoyable. It comes with three photos taken by the original owners, who were Constance and Lyons Gray of the R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company family. The box is near perfect as well. I really loved the whimsies as well. It has a total of 40 whimsies. It has two of the traditional seahorses and one that is basically a horse mermaid. Never saw one like that before. I took a few close up pics if you’d like to see a few of the whimsies. In the future I will have two other PAR puzzles from the same household that are also large in size.
