Description: Vintage 1970's Original Oil on Canvas Lighthouse on a Cliff at Sunset by YE There is no provenance with this piece, but the frame is of the style common in the late 1960's and early 1970's. The yellowing of the canvas and the hanging hardware also date the piece to around 1970. We have seen this signature before, but know nothing about the artist. Likely a hobbyist or amateur from the West Coast. Dimensions: Frame = 17 x 21 inchesCanvas = 16 x 20 inches Condition: Great color with no obvious fading or discoloration. There is one half inch, V-shaped tear in the canvas near the bottom frame rail with a temporary repair using masking tape on the back (see photos). Canvas is taut.
