Description: Vintage 70s Distressed Artisan Made Brass Paddle Spike & Marbled Enamel Necklace Such a cool piece. Got this in the late 70’s at a jewelry fair. Purposely distressed by the artisan (so worn spots and missing enamel is part of the artist’s design). Graduating brass paddle spikes meet round metal enameled brass beads, brass enameled cone beads and long brass enameled tube beads. It is finished by a black leather cording (cording has some surface wear, I can’t remember if this was slightly distressed like this by the artist or not). It has a brass hook and eye closure. Cared for in a smoke free home. Very clean. May have some light patina to the exposed brass. No breaks or repairs.
