Description: Handsome standing crucifix in cast white metal, the Crhist figure showing nice detail. Back is marked ' Made in Germany', dating this as a pre-WWII piece. Back plate is decorated in embossed motifs overall, including a hammer, pair of tongs, an open hand, the letter M, a ladder and a rooster. As well there are some geometric cubes at the top, a chalice, and crossed rods - two in pairs, one set of three. Approximate measurements: stands 12 1/2" tall. Base width and depth are 4" x 2 5/8". Condition Notes:No damage, dents, cracks, splits, breaks, etc. INRI plaque at top does rotate, there are wear marks on the crucifix plate from it doing so. There is some wear through and a chip away of the finish layer over the base metal, at edges, on the sides of the Christ figure.
