Description: READ Very beautiful and unique textile from India. Antique/vintage. This is a narrow wall hanging. Did research almost sure this was made by the Banjara tribe who live in the Gujarat state of India. It’s handwoven with lots of different colors. There’s bead/sequin work as well. There’s animals, flowers and Hindu gods throughout. The most accurate photo in terms of colors is the first one. The other photos make it look a little lighter. 17”x69” In good condition. Since its handmade it’s not 100% uniform. Some areas may have some mild uneven thread. There’s white splashes of color on the fabric. Unsure if that’s how it was orginally made. That may be the case because it’s everywhere and looks to be intentional. One of the flowers has lose thread. It’s been circled. Some of the animals have lose thread as well. That may be intentional but I took close ups so you can see. One of the corner seams is a little lose but not coming undone. There’s staining on the back as well. I took closeups but you can zoom in as well. The larger stains have a few tiny bumps. Selling another one similar to this one. 1-2 days handling, 2-5 shipping.
