Description: This is a vintage Magic Dial thermostat in box with all mounting, instructional, and advertising materials made by the US Radiator Corporation of Detroit, Michigan in the early 1950s. The instructions and promotional paper indicate printing dates of 1952 and 1953, providing my age estimate. This exact same model was also manufactured under the Perfex brand (Milwaukee, Wisconsin/ Iron Mountain, Michigan) and while the thermostat and attached original promotional paper are marked with US Radiator Corp branding, the installation instructions are marked with Perfex branding. Set includes: -Original box- Thermostat unit with original small promotional brochure attached with red thread- Paper envelop with printed inventory of its contents, and all contents included: - 2 mounting screws and mounting plate - installation instruction sheet Technical details from the box lid are available in the photos, but message me if you want me to provide typed text of the language! This thermostat is in unused condition, and the mercury thermometer works accurately.
