VTG Art Deco Sliding Top Coffee Table W/Bar Inside & Nesting Chairs

Description: This vintage coffee table is a true gem for any antique furniture collector. The table features a rectangular shape with a sliding top and a built-in bar inside. The table is fully assembled and weighs 40 lbs. It measures 44 inches in length, 23 1/4 inches in width, and 14 1/4 inches in height. The tabletop material is Formica, and the original cooler/ice bucket is still intact. This coffee table is an original piece from 1955, and it's perfect for anyone who wants to add a touch of Art Deco style to their home. I bought this piece several years ago and just never had the right scene to give it justice. I have inspected this unique piece from top to bottom and underneath and the only stamp or name is on the bottom and it only has a 500 stamp. This is truly a one of a kind- may have been built for a smaller/ shorter family because the chairs are only 12” tall and 11 1/2” square. Just needs a wee bit of touch up from storage and it will be the talk of your living area- I started the price at $1000.00 because the new fake wood ones are averaging $400-500 so let’s start there- kinda hard to put a price on something so unique. I cannot believe the artist that built it didn’t sign it to get some credit, it’s really cool:-)!
