Description: Up for sale is an art noveau-style ruffled edge silver-on-copper Bowl with an embossed cherry design along the edges. This belonged to my grandmother, so I assume it's vintage but am not completely sure. I don't see any stamp on it indicating the brand, just a very faint embossed "Silver on Copper" stamp on the back. See pic 8. It measures about 10.5" in diameter and is 3.25" high. It's been on a darkened shelf in my home for the last 20-25 years or so. The bowl is in FAIR condition. While it's structurally intact with no dents, dimples, or indentations--only a few light scratches and marks here & there--you can see that it's tarnished throughout with a heavy patina. I received it in this condition a long time ago and don't ever recall it being bright & shiny (it was never perfect in that regard), but it may have gotten darker over time. I don't have any silver polish or other appropriate way to clean it...or the skills or time to do it anyway. Also, given the patina, I can't tell if any of the silver plating has worn off along the edges in certain spots near the cherry design. Please take a look at all the pics (and let me know if you need more). As such, the bowl is being SOLD AS IS. It may clean up nicely and be more presentable, it may not--I just don't know.
