Description: VTG Black Knit Persian wool jacket. I’ve never quite seen one like this. Instead of having a full pelt this is actually individual strands of the Persian lamb wool and it does appear to be knitted. The shoulders are slightly padded and it does have a full black lining, the sleeves are stitched to the lining, the sleeves have a slight flare shape at the end. The previous owner appears to have rolled them up slightly. I noticed loose threads on the inner left lining. See the photos for details. At the neckline there is a wire hook and loop to close it is meant to be worn open down the front. I noticed a thread on the backside it can be pulled through, it could’ve had a stitch attaching to the inner lining. I’m not quite sure. I did inspect all the Persian lamb wool and I found no damage or holes. Please review all the photos as part of this description. Measurements: the shoulders measure 14 inches across, the bust measures 32 inches, the waist measures 34 inches, and the jacket is 23 inches long. I consider this coat ready to wear.
