VTG Bordallo Pinheiro Pink Fruit Majolica Salad Plates (2) Portugal Country Core

Description: This is a vintage set of two pink, approximately 7.75 inch diameter salad / dessert plates by Bordallo Pinheiro in the Fruit pattern. The color is like that of two plates in first photo. The plates were made in Portugal. This pattern has been retired. These majolica plates feature a series of raised / embossed decorations of leaves and fruit, Apples and Grapes. The plates are in excellent previously owned condition condition appearing to have rarely been used. There are no chips, no cracks, no stains, no haze and no utensil marks. The Apple plate has two lines of crazing. If you are a fan of majolica dinnerware, then you will want this set of plates by Bordallo Pinheiro. Made in Portugal, these Pink plates feature embossed / raised decorations of a fruit in the center with leaves encircling the outer edge. These plates will mix and match with other majolica styles and patterns to create a beautiful table setting!
