Description: A lot of 5 different vintage early 1900's Christmas postcards. Included are: 1) A real photo of 3 ladies around a snowman. Thay are smoking cigarettes and have furs around their necks outside amongst snow-covered trees. It has been written on and posted in 1909 and has the green one cent stamp. There is significant corner damage with folds on the right top and bottom corners and some flaking off the photo glass. Also edge wear. Please refer to the photos for condition. 2) Ivory background with a lady in red coat with white fur edges and holding a white fur muff. Green evergreen trees and green/red holly in nice, bright colors. "May Christmas bring you joy and happiness". Has been written on the split back but not posted. Printed in Germany, Christmas series 7019. Has minor edge wear. 3) A Victorian dressed lady holding red poinsettias. Has a large red poinsettia stem and Merry Christmas written in gold color. It was written on the back and posted in Grand Rapids, Mich in 1919 with the green one cent stamp included. Minor edge & corner wear, can see the postage cancel lines on the front by Merry. 4) A Victorian lady in long, red dress and coat and hat. She is placing a green wreath over the snowman's head. Has 3 birds in the lower right corner, a gold colored border around the scene, and Christmas Greetings. Has a makers mark on back lower left corner, was written on but not posted. Minor bends in lower corners. 5) A gold colored background with a Victorian lady holding a teacup. Has red/green holly and A Merry Christmas. The split back has been written and a postmark but no stamp. Has edge and corner wear, please refer to the pictures for details. A nice collection of early 1900's Christmas postcards!
