Description: VTG Clear Paperweight Art Glass Graduated Controlled Bubble Sphere in excellent condition! Item measures 2.75” in diameter, it weighs almost 1-1/2 pounds (unboxed). Controlled glass is also called Bullicante, which is the Italian word for full of bubbles. Bubbles are smaller at top and bottom of sphere and graduate to the largest ones being in the center, difficult to capture in a photograph. The item has been inspected, a few tiny scratches on the base were found, typical from pre-owned use, it’s really beautiful and catches sunlight in a spectacular way.
