Description: You are purchasing this adorable VINTAGE DEPT 56 "FISHING FOR DREAMS" MUSICAL WATER SNOW GLOBE SNOWBABIES STARS in VERY GOOD PREOWNED CONDITION. Brand is Snowbabies by Dept. 56. Made in Taiwan. This water snow globe is titled "Fishing For Dreams" and was first introduced in December 1992 and retired in December 1994. It is musical and plays "Catch A Falling Star" tune when wound on the bottom. Classic round glass globe on a heavy off white bisque porcelain base with star decor. Measures 4" width and 6" height. Globe without packaging weighs 1lb 15 oz. In the globe is a Snowbabies character angel fishing with a rod with a star on the hook and a friendly penguin/ puffin / bird is helping. Very good preowned condition. One owner - coming out of storage. Displayed a few times. Has the original styrofoam packaging but not the outer dark green boxing. No marks, scratches or scuffs.
