Description: Today I am offering this fabulous vintage Heath pottery small #104 berry/dessert/fruit or sauce bowl by famed Edith Heath of Heath Ceramics in Sausalito, California. This is from the Coupe ceramic line by Heath. It features clean lines and mid-century modern appeal. This is the very rare french gray and persimmon combination matte glaze that was first introduced in 1948 and is no longer produced. It has a dove-grey exterior, a pumpkin orange interior, and a creamy white rim. It measures approximately 5" across the top opening, and about 1" deep. It's the perfect size for ice cream, pudding, fruit, dessert, or a side of sauce. The incised hallmark on the underside reads as follows: Sausalito HEATH 104 California The condition is vintage pre-owned, but excellent. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. I don't detect any unsightly utensil marks. Maybe extremely minimal superficial surface wear. I'm just nitpicking right now when in reality I can't find anything negative to say. These are extremely hard to find so don't sleep on this deal! It will look great with any mid-century modern decor.
