Description: VTG German Mercury Blown Glass Double Legged Clip-on Bird w/spun glass tail Xmas Tree Ornament. Going through my Grandparents Christmas ornaments and finding many old German ones, which makes sense as that was their lineage and still had relatives there. As a child I remember their large decorated tree with a village underneath. 6" L x 1.5" W x 3" H. Long black beak. Colors are more worn on one side vs the other. No cracks. Tail where spun glass comes out has darkened, some has chipped away and it appears about half the tail is gone. Clip and legs have some rust. Little to no tension on clip. Would consider this Fair shape for a vintage item that is probably close to 100 years old. PLEASE review pictures carefully to make your determination of condition. Thanks for looking.
