Description: Victorian style seated man and woman bookend-style figurines. I say bookend-style because they are not that heavy. Not for use with heavy books--more for decoration or light books. Each is approximately 5.5" x 4.5". Stamped "Hand Painted Made in Japan" on the base. Pre-owned wiht no chips or cracks. Lady has gold detailing and man has silver detailing. One tiny black rough spot on edge under dog, which I believe is in the glaze. Vintage and used items are typically pre-owned and have signs of wear appropriate for age.
