Description: Here's a rarely found genuine Holophane fixture (we've restored hundreds of Holophane fixtures, and these are the first of this type we've come across). Two available, sold individually. In addition to the signature Holophane dome, these fixtures have a suspended concave bottom prismatic glass plate that hides the lightbulb and beautifully disperses its illumination. The prismatic glass shades are in outstanding condition with a few small, very hard to see chips here and there (no scuffs, welding spatter, etc.). All of the metal components are also in outstanding condition. Due to it having two large, complex pieces of glass, this fixture will be packed with supreme care to ensure its safe arrival at your doorstep. Should you buy both, they will have to be packed and shipped separately to guarantee a good shipping experience (sorry, no combined shipping for this fixture). Here's a closer look at this light's major components: SHADE: 15-1/2" diameter prismatic glass dome and 15-1/2" prismatic concave bottom plate.SOCKET: Original mogul sockets outfitted with new, highest-quality ceramic mogul-to-medium adapters, enabling you to use mogul bulbs (without the adapter) or with standard household bulbs (known as "E26" or "medium base") with the adapter in place. Each fixture includes 3' of new wire, enabling you flexibility in adding longer down pipes to hang them further from your ceiling. DOWN PIPE: A 12"-long galvanized iron pipe with 3/8" threads on both ends. Should you require a different length, similar pipe is available at any hardware store in various lengths.CEILING HANGER: We include a galvanized hanger that swivels so the fixture will hang plumb even on slightly sloped ceilings.
