Description: Vintage Krementz gold tone pendant necklace with clear purple stone. Necklace is a dainty and delicate 17 1/2" princess length link chain with spring ring closure. Pendant length including decorative sliding bail is 1" long; 1/2" diameter. It is fashioned of three concentric circular wire hoops embellished with a small purple stone at top. The necklace is marked "Krementz" on the spring ring, with a second mark too small to decipher (even with my loupe). It might be a logo, or possibly GP or GF metal purity. Several photos of the closure loops are included. The necklace is pre-owned but in very good condition overall. USPS 1st Class shipping. Krementz & Co. started in 1866 by producing high-end cuff links and other accessories for men. In 1920 they branched into women's jewelry and were known for top quality gold gilding. Fashion jewelry was discontinued in 1980 and the company focused on fine jewelry with precious gemstones. Metal purity of this necklace is untested; the tiny chain links appear fragile and I didn't want to risk any damage.
