Description: This is a vintage Lunkenheimer Co. of Cincinnati Ohio Glass and Brass No.2 Ball/globe oiler for oiling shafts/hit & miss engines. It holds 2 ounces and measures approx. 2 inches diameter and 6” with full extension of oiling pin/rod. The glass is sturdy and approx. 3/16th inch thick. No Cracks. Brass is decent with a little pitting on corners. Has original cork washer. There is a little oil/gunk left in the ball and on the Brass. This oiler design was a Shafting oiler it would sit in bearing with the Pin riding on a rotating shaft. The vibration from the shaft would let air into the ball, letting oil out. Appears complete and Should still function as needed for your vintage equipment. See photos for condition.
