We do not know if it was sculpted or cast?The body of the bird has the coolest marbled effect.The base has a sand texture on top and is lined with felt on the bottom (felt on bottom shows some discolorations - see photo 9).The legs and feet are welded metal.The beak may be metal as well?The bird has some pivot/movement in the sand base.
