The tree has been beautifully crafted in India and retains the original hang tag and identifying label on the bottom, as shown. The tree was made exclusively for Lillian Vernon and ordered through mail order in the 1970's. It was never used only stored away. It has branches that have a lovely curved curl on which to hang your ornaments on. This is illustrated in the pictures. You do not use ornament hooks, only the wire circle on the ornament. The ornaments pictured are not included with the tree...only used to illustrate a display. Should you like the look of the old mercury glass ornaments, they can be purchased separately and are on another listing. The tree is in good condition, unused with no damage or repairs, no foul odors or smells, coming from a non smoking home. The tree is 18 inches tall including the sweet cut out star topper.
