Description: Original headhunters painted wooden tribal mask with embedded cowrie shell, fiber tassels and tarantula feathers. Purchased on a trip to Papua New Guinea in the 1980s. In excellent vintage condition. Mask measures 12" tall by 10" wide, not including feather hair which adds approximately 7" more height. From my family's estate and a smoke free home.
