Description: When Iznik ceramic production declined at the end of the 17th century, Kutahya carried on the tradition with its unique style, incorporating many of the same designs and colors. This trio of extremely rare square tiles showcases cobalt blue, red, and turquoise tones, adorned with a classical Rumi pattern of tulips and carnations. They were acquired from my husband's globe-trotting late brother's estate over 40 years ago. Each tile is 8" square. Please note the signature on the lower center of the bottom tile.
