Description: Up for sale is: Approximate era: unsure they resemble regency pants and colonial style breeches but when searching also they were worn by mountain men in the frontier period. the man who used them wore them as part of a mountain man costume or dress up for buckskinning camping and maybe reenactments Name Brand: no name brand Type: canvas brown pants , has buttons for suspenders but no suspenders , front flap comes down and the back ties to adjust to smaller or larger sizes of waist, mostly a large will measure waist at widest and narrow-ist. Materials: canvas cotton Made in Country: most likely usa Marked size on tag: no size , someone may have made them long ago , unsure of origins , but well made , top waist part does have some of the stitches that are generally made by hand but most the rest is machine stitched , and some have serged edges Measurements are listed , taken in inches laying garment flat and measuring across.
