HANDEL This is a vintage Swiss made Reuge crystal music box, Reuge model #5998, circa the early 1980's. This item is in pristine "AS NEW" condition. The piece features cut lead crystal sides & top. The lead crystal box rests on brass dolphin style feet, and the top piece of crystal is secured by brass florets. The piece contains a Swiss made Reuge 3 tune 72 note changing musical movement (3/7202, dated 02/1984), which resides on a rosewood base that provides excellent sound resonance. The musical movement has been professionally serviced and restored to "AS NEW" condition by the seller, Music Box Repair Center Unlimited, and comes with a seller provided 2 year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The musical movement features a winding key which is located on the bottom of the base, and an on/ off lever which is accessible from the front of the base (see photos).
