Description: Vintage Men's Homburg Hat • Inside lining of hat: Scott & Co Hatters to H. M. the King & the Royal Family Old Bond Street Piccadilly, W. ~ Scott’s de Luxe ~ Henry Marks Limited ~ One Shop Only ~ Mount Royal Hotel, Montreal. • I can’t find a size inside the hat, but 7-1/8 is written on the top of the box. There is also a tag under the band that faintly reads Midnight Blue. • Very good condition: Minor cosmetic wear, as expected with age and light use, such as wear and light discoloration of interior band, some wear to ribbon on brim, minor dust and debris on felt, etc. Band has loose stitching in few places. Lining is a beautiful gold color. *** PLEASE NOTE: Dent in top of the hat was pushed out at some point and will need to be steamed back into shape. I did not attempt as I’m not an expert on men’s hats and have no idea how to do it correctly*** • Box condition is fair. Lovely plaid pattern inside. Handle is gone. Top of lid is coming away from the edge (see photos). It is still sturdy and functional. Bottom of box is similarly loose as the top. • Please see detailed photos below for item condition.
