Description: This is a vintage set of 3 collectors plates from the Hamilton collection, produced by Spode in the United Kingdom. They feature Noble Owls of America and were hand-crafted, with a limit of 15,000. These are the "Snowy Watch" owl who peers down from his perch in the snow, the "Autumn Mist" Owl who is grey and peers at you from his perch in a late autumn scene, while the third is "Dawn in the Willows" featuring a brown owl on a willow tree branch. All three plates were designed by Seerey-Lester with the "Snowy Watch" from 1986 and the other two from 1987. The plates are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches, but there is minor wear along the gold trim and underside of the plates where they rested on a table. They measure 9 1/2" across. These are beautiful plates that would be lovely decor for any home or AirBNB.
