Description: This listing is for a covered casserole done in the Thistle pattern by Stangl. It is unusual in that the outside of both the lid and the casserole are done in white. The large pattern of the pink thistle and its green leaves serve as the interior of the lid; the exterior has a smaller copy of the thistle. The interior of the casserole has the glossy caramel brown finish. The casserole measures 9 inches across including the handle. It stands 3 inches tall without the lid. The condition is excellent. No chips, cracks or crazing. There is a slight paint loss on the lid of the thin brown bands that circle the pattern. The bottom has the Stangl mark and the pattern name.
