Description: This is for a vintage hand crafted mid west, Aztec or maybe southwestern type pattern terracotta clay and purple glazed pottery planter bowl. Be advised of coloring. Terra Cotta Clay is raw unglazed and is slightly a lighter and muted aged patina toned. It's not as bold as in most of the photos. Purple glaze areas are in a gloss finish. Piece stands at 3.5 inches tall. Top diamater of 10 3/8 inches. Bottom of 7 inches. Piece weighs in at 3 lbs 10 ounces. It feels like a denser terra cotta. Piece is not marked anywhere we see. There is one tiny area on side of planter. See photo. Do not know if is a air pocket pop within pottery or is a tiny chip. Appears more if a small hole so we are assuming air pocket pop. You judge.
