Vintage antique Germany white & silver grey porcelain floral and cherub relief round trinket dish with gold gilded edges signed with Crown over N. Indicative of Potschappel, founded by Carl Thieme in 1872, Saxony, Germany. Potschappel, makers of 'art porcelain' in the 'old tradition'. The factory survives to modern times. The underside is not glazed and bears a cobalt blue letter "N" beneath a crown. Great vintage (almost antique) condition. Slight fading of gold gilt, but only adds to its classic charm. No chips or cracks that I could find. It should be noted that there are some production related anomalies present including irregularities in the glaze application and molded decoration which do not detract from the appearance of the piece and are mentioned only for accuracy.
