Description: VTG WIN-EL-WARE BOXED SET 6 FAMOUS MASTERPIECE TRIVETS MADE IN ENGLAND APPROX MEASUREMENTS 6"Square trivets Box 6.5"sq x 1" High DESCRIPTION Part of a collection of an estate lot that included a lot of vintage items from 50-60s. Made in the 1950s in England these Wen-El-Ware trivets were a sign of luxury in the everyday household. All these masterpieces are displayed in British museums. Each one depicts a masterpiece painting with the name of the masterpiece and the Win-El-Ware logo on the back. They have gold edging a glossy finish and a velveteen back. The original box is included. MASTERPIECES ARE:- Self Portrait by Rembrandt Mrs Siddons by Thomas Gainsborough Mrs Lawzun by Sir Henry Raeburn The Laughing Cavalier by Franz Hals Miss Caroline fry by Thomas Lawrence The Infant Samuel by Joshua Reynolds CONDITION The box is not in very good condition, it looks to have a lot of pest damage on the outside and some on the inside but not too much. The trivets themselves are in like new condition.
