Description: Women`s vintage plated gold and enamel earrings bought at the Peabody Essex Museum Shop in Salem, Massachusetts. Marked E1 on the backs the earrings come in the original box and with a descriptive paper. They measure a few hairs over 1" in diameter. These earrings were inspired by Miss Eliza A. Her button collection was donated to the Essex Institute in 1894, now part of the Peabody & Essex Museum in Salem, MA. Earrings need a quick cleaning but are in excellent condition. Never worn.
