Description: Offered is this vintage wooden clothes hanger from the Abbey Victoria Hotel in New York City. The hanger is marked with the hotel name and location and has a metal top hook. I don't know how old it is but the hotel was built in the late 1920s and closed in the early 1980s. It was separated into two parts during the 1939-1965 period so possibly dates to the period before or after that time frame. It is approx. 17" long and is in very good condition, with no damage. There are some light marks from use. This may be a rare find; at the time of original listing I could not find any other clothes hangers from this hotel for sale on eBay.
