Description: Tandy Radio Shack Battery-Operated Electronic Ice Hockey Tabletop Game Cat. No. 60-1099 Included: - Tabletop Game- Five (5) blue players- Five (5) red players- One (1) red goalie- One (1) blue goalie- Two (2) goals- Five (5) pucks- One (1) extra blue player- One (1) extra red player- One (1) extra red knob- One (1) extra blue knob- Original Retail Box with one (of two) Styrofoam sleeve included Requires (2) 'C' Batteries (not included) This game was bought in the late 1980's from a small-town Radio Shack that was going out of business - likely in part due to the recent arrival of Wal-Mart. The game was played sparingly and then stored in its box with other games and puzzles on the top shelf of a closet. The game is advertised for ten years old and up, but takes a fair amount of coordination to move the players with the controls as well as spin them and also manually control the goalie. This is not unlike foosball, but on a smaller scale. The game is in very good condition, though there are some minor signs of wear/age: - [SEE VIDEO] We inserted two 'C' batteries (not included) and turned the game on. All ten players still move back and forth along their tracks smoothly in response to their electronic controls. The players spin and goalies slide in response to their non-electronic controllers.- All pieces are still intact and even extra knobs, players and pucks are also included (see photos #1 & #4). - The battery cover is present AND unbroken (see photos #8 & #9) How many old electronics ended up with a broken or missing battery cover? - The 'ice' does have creases in it in front and around the red goal (see photos #1 & #2). This does not prevent the players from moving on their tracks, but will slightly affect the travel of the 'puck'. - The base still has all four rubber feet.- The box has some bends from being stacked with other games, but since it was in a closet, it has not faded. There is one area on the back near the lower left corner where there's some moisture damage (see photo #14) - Please review the photos closely for condition. Instructions NOT included. Batteries NOT included.
