See pics Accumulating records is more fun than selling them. I have over 12,000 records I have acquired over the years and as an old man now it's time to part with these treasures. Every collector seems to have his own idea about grading. I do my best. All records are visually inspected & if I see a problematic area, I put it on the turntable for further review. If you feel my description is wrong, Please don't flame me up with a bad feedback. That doesn't help either one of us to resolve the issue. Feel free to ask questions. Taking pictures is not my strongest attribute! VINYL GRADING MINT (M) : Perfect record, clean gloss, no marks, beautiful in every way, very few records will make mint. MINT- (M-) : Very clean only light marks Very Good +(VG+) : Light scratches only, play and look very nice with minimal surface noise. Very Good (VG) : Still a nice record, look a bit used, light scratches no gouges, still plays well, some surface noise. Very Good -(VG -) : A bit rough but will play ok Good (G) : Plays rough, has multiple scratches.
