They are clean and shiny, top and bottom, without crazing, chips, cracks, dark utensil marks, dishwasher film, or mineral deposits, and the base bottoms show minimal signs of use. Every plate offered has been closely inspected and the only thing noted were very light superficial (clear) marks consistent with minimal use or storage.
