Description: Water Sports Merit Badge - Type K, has a blue "BSA" with red "2010" date slogan backing and was issued for only a few years between 2010 - 2012 in celebration of the 100th anniversary of scouting. Produced only a few years It could be one of the rarest of all types in the future. This merit badge began in 1969 as Water Skiing with a water skier design. After several minor changes in the water skier, in 2004 the design changed to show a water skier with brown life vest. In 2008, the name changed to Water Sports, as it remains today.
