Description: Fine Bone China Wedgwood's Williamsburg Cuckoo Rimmed Soup Bowl Pattern R4497 Colonial Williamsburg commissioned Wedgewood to produce the Cuckoo Design which was on the market from 1973-1995. I fell in love with the shapes and the cheerful colors when I purchased this in 1983 in London. Each piece is edged with a hand painted gold edge to complement the whimsical design. The Colonial Williamsburg marking is on each piece. This is my own personal collection which I purchased in England in the mid eighties. At the time I was living and working in London, some of the pieces were purchased directly from WedgeWood in Stoke on Trent and some were purchased at Harrods in London.
