Description: Here's a scarce Weller SILVERTONE basket, 12-3/4" tall x 9-1/2" deep x 4" at widest. The basket itself is relatively flat, 3," but widens at the oval base and near the top of the handle. Ornately decorated with bunches of grapes, vines and grape leaves, the heavy thick vines forming the handle at top. Piece is in truly outstanding condition with no noted flaws whatever. Marked on the base with the blue 1/2 kiln semi-circular mark from the '20's. A fine antique basket!
