Description: Two smaller Wesley Willis drawings from my personal collection. These are drawings of the lake front from 1985 and 1986 with excellent detail. Paintings from later years were repetitive with less detail as Wesley sold them quickly for drug money. These drawings are from a time before his life was destroyed by drugs and mental illnesses. These pictures also have sailboats which became much more rare as Willis career as an artist went on. It’s street art with the normal dings and dents accumulated over time but these are fairly pristine having been kept in storage most of their lives. There’s a piece of the left corner missing on one but that can be fixed with framing. Again, it’s street art. The colors are very vibrant for their age. As always the Sears Tower, Wesley’s favorite, is prominent in both drawings. Questions? Email me. Shipping is $200 and if it costs less I will refund the difference.
