Description: This is an original gouache painting by Joann M. Fromm, framed and matted. It is a western cowboy scene. On the back, the artist attached a placard in which she wrote that she modeled it after C. M. Russell's 1902 painting "Cowboys Roping a Wolf." Fromm painted this painting exactly a century later -- in 2002. Fromm was an artist out of Hood River, Oregon, who has since passed. This is a beautiful piece, well framed and would be a great addition to any Western decorated home. It's also just a beautiful landscape! beautiful greens and yellows across rolling hills. Piece measures ~18.25" x 22.25" (in the frame).
