Description: This is a Whistles fabulous floaty maxi dress I bought from their West Hampstead boutique, many moons ago. Sleeveless, it has a scoop neckline (3rd phpoto shows the back neckline, the front is lower), cut in shoulders and a fitted top that flows out under the bust seam, to a wide and very floaty hem. It looks far lovelier than shown, in the photos. Monochrome with white polka dots. Effortless elegance. Very, very easy to throw in your luggage and jet off to sunny shores! The material feels like a soft crepe viscose or polyester, I can't recall exactly what it is. I had cut the washing label out when I first bought it, as it looked visible from the outside. There is a lot of material and will look fine when you're out and about, you could always pop on a slip, if desired. I found the underarms restricting and let them out myself, so that the armholes are generous and also easy to layer with. The repair is not visible from the outside. There are a few thread line pulls, nothing dramatic. In overall good condition, with plenty of years left in it, I enjoyed wearing it a few times. Am much more comfy in trousers, nowadays. Cool and Summery, perfect for throwing into your holiday suitcase, as it does not require ironing. Great for layering with, in cooler weather. Pop a lovely cardi on and leggings underneath! Marked size L, this dress will fit happily across sizes UK 14 to a smaller 18; US 10 to a smaller US 14; EU DE 42 - smaller 46.
