Description: Vintage Hand Blown White Opal Glass Tam-O-Shanter Student Shade The classic opal glass Tam-O-Shanter shades are made by craftsmen and hand-blown in an American glass factory. I do know this shade was pre-owned but with the possibility that it was never used. It looks new and unused and is why I selected "New other" as the item condition. The bottom rim has a rough feel, but I read that it is manufactured that way. Measurements are as shown below and in the photos. I used a lamp with a 10" fitter ring for the photos and it fit rather well (last photo).
