Circa 1870's but no internal date. Beveled, dark green cloth covered boards stamped in black and red on front panel; gilt and black stamped on spine with gold text. All edges are gilt. Upper and lower edges of spine are rubbed with a bit of fraying on the corners. Fore-edge corners are rubbed. Light scuffing on upper and lower edges of front and back panels. Small, faint owner's name stamped on front paste down. Missing tissue paper by frontispiece. Internal pages are browning around the edges due to paper quality. Many illustrations, some full page - see photos. Some internal smudges but book is primarily internally clean and text block is solid. Additional photos available at your request.
