Gibson guards DO NOT FIT on Epiphones, and vice versa. Likewise a 1998 Gibson SG Standard half face pickguard will not fit a 2013 Gibson '61 Reissue. While a lot of these pickguards look very similar, they are likely not cross compatible. The distance between the pickups, the screw holes, all these things are usually slightly different, so you really need to use due diligence when ordering. And ask questions. Half Face pickguard for GIBSON 50th Anniversary SG Standard 24 This pickguard will only fit genuine Gibson® 50th Anniversary SG Standard 24. The distance between the pickups is 1-11/16th, (42.5mm) which is significantly shorter than the '61 Reissue or other standard models. This will also NOT FIT the 24 Fret Tribute models or the SGJ, SGM series, The distance between the pickups on those is even smaller.
