Description: From a magnificent, private, antique typewriter collection out of Purdue University comes this truly hard to find antique advertising sign for a Williams Number One Typewriter. The collection was put together in the 1960s and none of its items have been available until now. The entire collection is now on display and available for sale at Branford House Antiques. This antique tin typewriter sign features a Williams Model One typewriter, and we are dating this sign to the 1891 - 1894-time frame when the model one was in production and available for sale. It is in pretty good condition for being over 130 years old. The sign does show a bit better in life then in the photographs. It is approximately 13.75 inches high by 19.625 inches wide.
