Description: Cold hardy Windmill palm trees! Extra large! Beautiful, green, and healthy palm trees! Bring the tropics to you! Trees are extra large for 7 gallon containers, 44-50 inches tall (including pot which measures 12 inches tall). Each tree has 10-12 inches of clear trunk. Trunk is 10 inches wide around the base. Windmills are a typical trunking palm tree that you see at many resorts and pool areas. They can grow very tall, up to 20ft in perfect conditions. We condition these in unheated hoop houses during the winter (zone 6a/b) They routinely see temperatures down to 10 degrees F, over 30 times a winter. They can withstand the cold, as long they are protected from the wind. We cover all planted specimens with frost cloth during winter, from Dec-March, here in Ohio.
