I designed this free standing knife rack for kitchens that have limited wall space but still want a statement piece for your knives. Perfect for kitchen islands! The effect of floating / leaping knives is so much fun we wanted to make it a focal point for in depth talks about which cutlery is best! The wine barrels are dried for up to 2 years, insuring they are dry. We then kiln fire, hand cut, sand and seal each piece with natural mineral oil to preserve this beautiful art for generations to come. The magnets are super strong pulling 16 pounds each and will hold even your largest knives. The base is made from recycled steel and weighted so your knives will never fall over. We tested it extensively! Holds 11 knives, 5 on one side, 6 on the other and they are staggered so your knife handles wont touch.
