Wittnauer Geneve Watch 10K RGP 17J Mens Wrist Watch Manual Wind Swiss Mvt

Description: I have up for sale a nice vintage original , I would guess circa 1940s - 60s , Wittnauer 10K Rolled Gold Plate Bezel Men's Wrist Watch . The movement is a 11K Swiss manual wind mechanical with sub seconds dial and has 17 Jewels , its stamped AXA which indicates it was imported, its a Swiss Movement. It winds easy and sets just as it should , starts right up and appears to keep decent time for the short while that I tested it. The case measures approx 28mm wide by approx 32mm long not including the lugs. The back is a stainless steel snap back . The dial has some yellowing and wear on the margins. There is no serial number on the movement that I can see. With that said the inside of the snap back is stamped with 2932-11K and the number 5970884 . The watch would make for a good everyday user but I would suggest that the movement be serviced to help ensure good time keeping and such . This is an old estate watch with no service record. The band is an old stretch Speidel , its stamped 10K Gold Filled top caps. The watch is in Good Shape , does have some noted imperfections but overall pretty decent. ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics. IN THE RARE EVENT YOU RECEIVED THE ITEM AND IT IS DAMAGED -CONTACT ME ASAP - KEEP THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS JUST AS THE ITEM ARRIVED AS THEY WOULD BE NEEDED TO HELP PROCESS THE INSURANCE CLAIM. YOU WOULD BE REQUIRED TO HELP WITH THE INSURANCE CLAIM . SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING ,PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND OF THE DAMAGED ITEM WOULD BE REQUIRED. WITHOUT THESE PICS, YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND IF I CAN NOT PROCESS THE CLAIM - YOUR HELP IS REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE.
