Description: Description This handmade bag is made by stretching Japanese paper and fabric over a bamboo basket and finishing it with persimmon tannin. IKKAN-UCHI is an old Japanese manufacturing method. The bag becomes very strong by applying persimmon tannin over and over again, so it can hold heavy objects. The color of the persimmon tannin darkens with each layer, and the color slowly develops with sunlight and time. Please take your time and enjoy it. Kakishibu is durable enough once it adheres to the surface, but it should not be left wet for long periods of time. The pattern is "Kurofunaya" and beautiful narcissus flowers, a masterpiece by Japanese artist Takehisa Yumeji.
